Virgin Voyages’ ships stand out with their superyacht-inspired atmosphere, upscale dining outlets, free Wi-Fi access, design-forward staterooms and wellness activities. Virgin doesn’t nickel and dime you (Internet, beverages, gratuities, and ALL dining is included).
Virgin is focused on adults only (especially Millennials). They don’t have buffets that hangout under heating lights — all meals are served at your table.
Short port stops are a thing of the past — Virgin has overnight stays, as well as 10 to 12-hour port stays vs. the common 8-hour stays.
Virgin Voyages are an ADULT-ONLY cruise line. It’s all-inclusive, except if you want a shore excursion, which can be scheduled before sailing. If you want premium drinks, you can purchase a $350 bar tab prior to sailing for only $300.
Princess Cruise Line
Princess Cruise line is rated the Best Cruise Line for Alaskan Cruises. They do a great job and have excursions that will leave you speechless. They even have one to take before or after your cruise that has a scenic train ride and resort night stay with a most beautiful view. Well worth the extra!
Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian runs many great deals that come close to being all-inclusive. You can buy a $350 bar credit for $300 prior to sailing.
It is a family friendly cruise line with things just for the kids. Edgy entertainment includes improvisational comedy and family-friendly Blue Man Group shows. Nickelodeon characters (think Dora and SpongeBob) delight little ones, while everyone else has a go at water slides and the trampoline.
Carnival Cruise Line
Carnival Cruise Line is known for great family entertainment, with water slides and other things for kids (and us overgrown kids!) to do. Good food, night entertainment and lots of fun!
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line
Royal Caribbean Cruise line has a great balance of things for all ages. For the kids, water slides, a playground and more! For the adults, great food, live entertainment, spas, exercise rooms and quiet areas to relax.
